Tip #1: When Prints and No Prints Mix

TIP#1: As a rule of thumb in conventional fashion, printed skirts go well with plain top, or vice versa. Also, please avoid buying ukay-ukay stuff that bears the foreign manufacturer's logo. That's a total give-away.
However, if you want to challenge conventional practice and declare your free spirit by mix-matching stuff - go for it! Just don't overdo it with "loud" colors or bold prints( read: Chinese or Taiwanese characters, logo, anything that shouts "ukay-ukay ako!" Get the message?) Less is still "more."

#OOTD Cost:

                Blouse  -------  P10.00
                Skirt      -------    35.00

Something's New in What's Old

Imagination.  This 11-letter word, when put into action, can create a celebrity-size wardrobe for anyone, without breaking the bank!  As they say, "there is always something new in what's old, if only one has imagination."

A Yummy-Cheese Burger is more expensive than this jade-green dress with a brooch!  Sleeveless or with blazer on, you can call the shots - who would know it's only P5.00? True story.

Look Good for Cheap. Yes, You Can!

There is absolutely nothing wrong about saving up for a designer's dress, or a signature bag. If you have money to burn, by all means - splurge! However, for most of us ordinary earthlings who are living off on a meager paycheck, dressing up like a Kardashian spells disaster!
You don't max out your credit card on clothes, shoes and bags, do you?
This blog aims to share with you tips (and tricks) on how to look pleasant without breaking the bank! (Note: I did not say, pretty. I only said, pleasant. There's no permanent tweak on one's DNA.)
And come on, you've been told: money does not grow on trees. Although rewarding your self for your hard work is good idea, taking on credit to buy clothes you can't normally afford, is not. What to do?
Unless you were hatched under a rock, you may have heard of ukay-ukay, right?  Others put a nice ring to them and call them "pre-loved" items, but they are "hand-me-downs" just the same!
Instead of splurging your hard-earned cash on designer's clothes, invest your money in domains and web hosting. Monetize a blog; work from home. Visit www.bayanihan.net for a quick look; tell me what interests you, and maybe we can talk over hot sikwate (Philippine choco) and boiled kamote (sweet potatoes).  No joke.
Or promote WordPress premium themes you can find at www.zigzagpress.com and get 50% commission on every sale you make ---in US Dollars! Are we talking soon?
For this outfit, I shelled out (drum roll please....) -
     Dress      ------------ P35.00
Accessory ----------- Gift from a friend
     Shoes  ---------------    50.00
     Black Blazer --------    10.00
     Below P100!
